Invitation to Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2026
To assist Vietnamese businesses in enhancing trade and investment promotion and expanding cooperative ties with the South Asian market, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (Sri Lanka) is organizing the Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2026 (SLEIS 2026). The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade hereby announces and invites agencies, organizations, and the business community to attend the forum.
The two-day event is scheduled to take place on October 12–13, 2026, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It offers Vietnamese enterprises valuable opportunities to access the market, seek strategic partners, and expand their international business networks.
SLEIS 2026 is a major economic and investment forum hosted by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, gathering high-level representatives from the Sri Lankan government, policy-making bodies, investment promotion agencies, the business community, industry experts, and international partners. This year’s summit is centered around the theme: "Positioning Sri Lanka in a Changing Global Economy: Resilience, Reform, and the Future of Economic Policy."

The Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2026 (SLEIS 2026) will take place on October 12–13, 2026, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Through high-level panel discussions and thematic seminars, SLEIS 2026 will focus on Sri Lanka's economic outlook, policies, and reform progress, while updating participants on the latest developments in the country's investment and business environment. The summit also serves as a key platform for the international business community to gain deeper insights into Sri Lanka's potential, competitive advantages, and partnership opportunities amid its accelerating economic recovery and global integration.
A key highlight of SLEIS 2026 is the direct B2B and G2B business matching sessions. These activities offer dedicated opportunities for enterprises to meet, exchange ideas, and explore partnerships with Sri Lankan companies, economic conglomerates, government agencies, and investment promotion bodies. Key sectors in focus include trade, investment, technology, infrastructure, logistics, energy, and services.

Networking activities between businesses, investors, and regulatory authorities are one of the core focus areas of SLEIS 2026.
For Vietnamese enterprises, participating in SLEIS 2026 offers not only up-to-date insights into Sri Lanka's regulatory framework and business climate, but also an ideal platform to showcase their products, capabilities, and brand reputation while seeking prospective importers, distributors, and investment partners. This will enable Vietnamese companies to incrementally expand their footprint in Sri Lanka and strengthen connections across South Asia and the global market.

This represents a practical opportunity for Vietnamese companies to proactively engage with the Sri Lankan market, connect with potential partners, and grow their business operations across the South Asian region.
